"Public Policy Portuguese Journal" publishes article by Rui Nuno Baleiras

Rui Nuno Baleiras, Executive Member of the Portuguese Public Finance Council (CFP), published the article “Institutional obstacles and possible solutions to make across-the-board policies effective: The case of economic development in Portugal” in the first edition of the new journal Public Policy Portuguese Journal. Rui Nuno Baleiras’ paper analyses the effect of the institutional process upon the effectiveness of horizontal public policies, with the economic development being the focus of the article.

 The new jornal  is published by the Unidade de Monitorização de Políticas Públicas from  University of Évora and it is the first scientific community journal in Portugal which debates the state of public policies in the nation. The CFP Executive Member, who is also professor at Minho University, takes part in the journal’s Editorial Board.
