Year-on-year change

Year-on-year change measures the change in an indicator compared to its value in the same period (month or quarter, for example) of the previous year. It is especially useful for assessing the dynamics of indicators with a defined seasonal pattern, since it is not affected by fluctuations of that kind.

Yield curve

The yield curve, or time structure of interest rates, is a graphic representation of the relationship between market remuneration rates (interest) and the remaining period until the maturity of debt securities.
