The Presidents of the Public Finance Councils of Portugal and Cape Verde, Nazaré da Costa Cabral and Osvaldo dos Reis Borges respectively, signed a cooperation protocol yesterday in Lisbon, aimed at sharing experiences and knowledge regarding the work carried out by the two institutions, as well as benefitting from synergies to carry out projects of common interest.
The protocol foresees the promotion of training activities and the development of technical assistance projects in the two institutions' areas of expertise, namely in the field of macroeconomic, fiscal and financial modelling.
The two sister institutions also commit to co-organise events of common interest, such as seminars, conferences and working groups, on economic and public finance issues and within the scope of their respective missions and duties.
The ceremony was also attended by the members of the CFP Senior Board of Portugal, Miguel St Aubyn and Noémia Goulart, and the Council of Cape Verde, Carlos Manuel Rocha and Minarvino Furtado.
