Opinion of the CFP on Draft Law no. 618/XIV/2ª "Current account between taxpayers and the State"

The Committee on Budget and Finance, in a communication received on 14 October 2021, requested the Portuguese Public Finance Council to issue an opinion on Draft Law no. 618/XIV/2ª - "Current account between taxpayers and the State". The subject matter of the Law in question is fundamentally related to the so-called taxpayer guarantees, a matter which is not directly within the scope of the attributions of the Portuguese Public Finance Council. Even so, and considering some collateral effects on the accounting and fiscal plan, the CFP has made its considerations.
