Opinion on the RAA’s Draft Legislative Regulation No. 58/XIII/2nd (IL) on fiscal neutrality for fuels

The Standing Specialised Committee on the Economy (CE) of the Legislative Assembly of the Autonomous Region of the Azores, by a communication received on 29 June 2026, requested a hearing from the Portuguese Public Finance Council on Draft Regional Legislative Decree No. 58/XIII/2nd (IL) – “Establishing a fiscal neutrality mechanism, measures to stabilise fuel prices and instruments to mitigate the economic impact in the Autonomous Region of the Azores”, for which an opinion in support of the hearing was issued.
