Noémia Goulart took part in the PlanAPP and INA Public Policy Training Programme

Noémia Goulart was a guest speaker at the 2nd edition of the Public Policy Training Programme, an initiative developed in partnership between PlanAPP and INA, held on 12 March in Lisbon.

The non-executive member of the Portuguese Public Finance Council spoke at the webinar “Monitoring Policies Based on Sustainable Development Benchmarks”, where she addressed the topic “Sustainable Development Goals in the Fiscal Process”, exploring the role these goals play in the framework and implementation of fiscal policies.

The event, aimed at senior managers and technical staff from the organisations comprising RePLAN, sought to provide a comprehensive overview of the integration of the 2030 Agenda into planning instruments and their monitoring, to encourage critical reflection on the incorporation of sustainability into the fiscal cycle, and to identify best practices and lessons for the monitoring of planning instruments and public policies.
